Production Assistant While producing science radio in London, Estelle heard rumours that something big was happening in the South West – a primate was emerging from the depths of Bristol to talk about science…or something like that. Intrigued, she caught the next train out of the Big Smoke. Lo and behold, it was her former MSc coursemates behind the ruckus – the founders of the Rising Ape Collective. Seriously impressed, she was keen to muck in. She hopes her over-excitability about most things science, unnecessary shortening of words and eager creativity will add to the team.
Estelle is a human scientist by training – she loves biology, the brain, wildlife and anything that involves an adventure or the sea. She’s training to be a TV producer and hopes that her films will someday leave her audiences inspired by the natural world and thinking that science is really, REALLY cool. Also wishes she spoke Chinese.
